Sometimes I will also post important information about class or things I want you to know or think you might be interested in.
As part of this course, you are expected to keep an online BLOG. I will check the BLOG throughout the grading period. BLOG posts should be a minimum of 150 words.
BLOG entries can be:
Your thoughts about something you have learned in school
Thoughts about what you hear, read, or see on the news
Thoughts anything that you have been thinking about
The purpose of the BLOG is to develop fluency in writing. BLOG writing does not need to have perfect grammar and spelling. Spelling and grammar errors will not lower your BLOG grade unless the poor spelling or grammar keeps me from understanding what you have written, is sloppy, or done carelessly without thought or proof-reading.
BLOGS will be graded on the amount of writing and the thought that went into the writing. This is your chance to develop your flow of thought while writing.
You must submit a new post weekly. Posts are due by Thursday @ 4 PM of each week of the grading period. I WILL CHECK THE TIME AND DATE STAMP for each submission. Posts submitted AFTER 5 p.m. on Friday will be considered late, and you will lose points. You may not make-up points for late BLOGS.
